Gladiators UK audience - strict age 5 policy?

Hi all,

I recently applied for audience tickets for the filming of Gladiators 2025, and I understand there’s a strict over-5s age policy in place.

I applied for several dates in the hopes of finally being successful, as I’ve not had any luck in previous years — and we have been allocated a date a week shy of my son turning 5. (I was really hoping for a date after his birthday if we were lucky enough to get tickets!).

Has anyone attended before and can advise on how strictly the age policy is enforced? I’d rather not take him than risk him being turned away on the day. I completely understand he’s not technically 5 yet, but it’s only a matter of days!

I attended a filming of the original gladiators s I used to work for where it was filmed back in the day. It is an INCREDIBLY slow and boring process. Numerous retakes, times when you are sitting around doing nothing. Times when you can and can't leave your seats. The child I took was about 10 years old. I wouldn't take anyone under the age of about 7 myself.

I think you'll get away with it, if you say he's 5, but agree with pp that actually it's a long and boring process. I took my ds to see ninja warrior when he was about 5/6 and although he sat nicely it wasn't as enjoyable as I expected it to be!

I agree with the previous posters. I went to the filming of the original Gladiators (a colleague was competing) and I think a 5 year old will find it tedious. I’m surprised the age limit isn’t older than 5.

I absolutely hated the faux cheering you had to do, that was the worst bit!
