I’ve loved reading the humour here together with the sad posts and wanted to acknowledge them. There are some funny, lovely posters here too.

Also the ones who make you realise you aren’t going mad, whilst going through some truly awful, lonely and frightening experiences. Those posters who take time out of their day to help are just the best and I am truly grateful for their support.

I love Mumsnet too.
It's my time out and reading go-to and much more enlightening, inspirational, and reassuring, than reading the news, that's for sure.
I love how so many, I would say the majority of posters, reveal such compassion when they know that someone is in need of help.
I picture them as gathering around the poster and with kind words and sympathy that comes from life experience, offering support like a community, which I guess MN is.
Sure you get some who are having a rant but they likely have their problems too, they just don't want to or know how to express them.

There's lots of cosy corners with long-running, friendly chats on specific topics. It's not all AIBU (as fascinating as the crazy is over there)
