Did I imagine this? 80s/90s ice cream, crisps

You know those ice creams called funny feet. I remember them having a chocolate toe. However they aren’t like that now and I can’t find any evidence of them ever having a chocolate toe.

Walkers crisps, I remember them having a transparent/clear section at the front where you could see the crisps. Again can’t find any photos.

Anyone remember? Or anyone have any memories that don’t appear to be real? 🤣

I thought the crisps with the transparent bit were the salt and shake ones - where you added the salt?

Yes to the walkers crisp window- I remember as a kid thinking it was shady they'd replaced it with a photo of crisps... in my child mind 'there could be anything in there' 😂

Remember funny feet but can't confirm or deny the chocolate toe.

No recollection of the funny feet ice cream toe but the crisps with the transparent window I do remember. I thought they were golden wonder though but I don’t remember when all crisps seemed to be walkers either.

Funny feet didn’t have any chocolate but a knock of did have a bit of chocolate where the foot was dipped. The crisps used to have a clear window.

Yes the Walkers crisps changed in the early 90s because from then on they said "foil lined for freshness" on the front.

Came to say the same thing. It was a freaky foot!!! That was the same as a funny foot but had the chocolate toe.

Iceland sell Funny Feet.

Apparently the chocolate toe was the Irish version.

I didn’t realise freaky foot and funny feet were different. I’m not in Ireland so strange that I remember these.

Haha yes that what I remember thinking. I felt a bit cheated.

You could put the clear crisp packets in the microwave to shrink them and make a keyring.

I can remember yogurt pots that had feet too

They did have chocolate toes in the UK too, I remember them! Plus the crisp windows! Great memories of both!

Tudor crisps had the clear bit at the front. I can't remember about Golden Wonder or any of the others.

I remember when Walkers started with the foil packaging but for the life of me I can't remember what they did before 😔

I remember Funny Feet but not what flavour they were. My mum only bought plain vanilla!
