Well it's 'don't bring me down' not 'don't let me down'. I had to Google it, the correct word it 'groos' whatever that means, but everyone tends to sing Bruce. So you are kind of right!

I saw them in concert Sunday and they sang that fabulously

uncomfortablydumb60 · 09/07/2025 02:53

Mine is a play on words of my all time favourite track
โ€ Comfortably numbโ€ Pink Floyd

CherryRipe1 · 09/07/2025 03:31

I love Cherry Ripes (Australian choccie bars with a cherry filling). I originally wanted Cherry red but it had been taken. Now I want to look for a UK supplier & gorge some.

StarlightLady · 09/07/2025 04:42

A pet name mum had for me as a toddler. My sister still calls me โ€œStarโ€ to this day.

Kimwestonhelpless · 09/07/2025 05:38

Northern soul record

A film about a man who travels to Romania to find a Roma singer. He doesnโ€™t find her and nobody has heard of her. I am not Roma, never been to Romania and canโ€™t sing but never mind!

I felt overwhelmed in 2019 with a voluntary commitment

I love Paul Rudd!

Iโ€™m sure I have an old Facebook album called Totes Magotes from an old uni trip to Malia ๐Ÿ˜‚

I change my user name really regularly as I over share. This is from an original oil painting on my wall.

Dexterrolledoffthesofa · 09/07/2025 08:54

I use variations of what my dog (Dexter) gets up to

Papyrophile · 09/07/2025 08:57

I'm a sucker for nice stationery!

TitanicWasAGreatMovie · 09/07/2025 09:16

Because sometimes people say otherwise, but they would be incorrect Smile

troppibambini6 · 09/07/2025 09:21

Iโ€™m from an Italian family and have six kids which is apparently too many.

Yay! Thanks, that's great. I'm going near a B&M today so will nip in there with a freezer cool block & stock up, migraines be damned.

I feel like this about bananas. They have such a tiny window of opportunity to eat and actually enjoy them. They're either under-ripe and turn your mouth inside out, or over-ripe and taste like cack mixed with soil. The 'nice to eat' window is about 2 days (IME...)

Sainsburys and M&S sell the nicest bananas, most of the others are chemically & bleugh!

GeorgeCrabtreesAuntBegonia · 09/07/2025 11:15

Good call OP, Iโ€™ve often wondered the same.

Mine is from a Canadian detective programme where George Crabtree is a cute police officer (cute, as in Iโ€™d like him as a family pet) who had a lot of very โ€˜colourfulโ€™ aunts. I chose Begonia because she was the one who fell off a milking stool and died laughing. No obvious link, it just tickled me.
