I love Cherry Ripes (Australian choccie bars with a cherry filling). I originally wanted Cherry red but it had been taken. Now I want to look for a UK supplier & gorge some.

A pet name mum had for me as a toddler. My sister still calls me “Star” to this day.

Good call OP, I’ve often wondered the same.

Mine is from a Canadian detective programme where George Crabtree is a cute police officer (cute, as in I’d like him as a family pet) who had a lot of very ‘colourful’ aunts. I chose Begonia because she was the one who fell off a milking stool and died laughing. No obvious link, it just tickled me.
