What is the definition of someone like this?

A wise mumsnetter recently wrote a phrase to describe someone who purposefully appeared disinterested and scornful about another person’s idea, even though they thought it to be a good one.
Can’t find the thread, but she used a two word expression which accurately described this response.
Any counsellors, psychologists or other wise ones out there that know what phrase I mean?

False modesty, Feigned refusal. Feigned reluctance?

Fucking crafty? Most likely the disinterested party would take the credit themselves.
