I travel frequently to Asia for work - currently in Tokyo. I'm so struck with how far ahead so many countries in Asia are and how decades and decades of lack of investment in infrastructure in the UK has put the UK so very behind, so much so I can't see how we can ever catch up.
I'm encouraging my DDs to look East for jobs as I truly think that that is where it is at. I honestly think that the only reason we in the UK aren't up in arms at our shit infrastructure is not enough people know what significantly better looks like and we put up with what we have.
