Affordable Business Class?

Hello.
I have family in Australia and would like to visit them at some point next year. I have a back condition so would ideally like to fly business class. This would be 2 adults and 1 child. I am restricted to school holidays as am a teacher so would go Summer or October. Was wondering if there are any ways to get ‘cheaper’ business class flights or if there are any known deals, best times to book etc. I don’t have any loyalty points or anything with existing companies.
Thank you for any tips!

Business class in condor was great. (It's not like Emirates or anything) but was really good to the States.

I definitely would never book through a 3rd party. The airline won't touch you if any issues and the 3rd party often can't get issues resolved.
Not sure if it's been mentioned but look at starting you journey in Europe, their taxes are significantly lower than the UK. Cheap budget flight from UK to Europe. You can save 1000s . Istanbul seem to be a very cheap hub at the moment, maybe worth a look .

As you have a back issue then I see no problem with just you in business class, it’s not like you are doing it to quaff champagne it’s a medical need. I have a back issue, scoliosis and if faced with this issue I know DH would be fine with just me having an upgrade.

We have done business class to Australia a couple of times for under 10k for 3 seats. Managed it for 11k for 3 seats and an under 2 over Christmas as well.

It was Perth which made a difference, but we do unusual routes such as via Mauritius, Hong Kong or Frankfurt. Flying from a regional airport helps and it might be worth pricing up flights from an English airport as it won’t be the holidays here when you fly so therefore cheaper.

Get a credit card that offers points for purchases, e.g. Virgin Atlantic do one. Put all your expenses on it and pay off every month so as not to pay interest. Use the points for flights.

If you read today's Guardian Cathay Pacific have just put out a £20k business class fare Sydney to London to avoid mid east stops. Also Quantas raising prices due to fuel prices. Where one goes the others follow.
