I’m not well so am treating myself to an afternoon of doing nothing. Generally I like thrillers, films with a twist, comedies and abit of romance. What I don’t want is horror or violence or a weepy. What are your to go films.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 days.

Or any of the old classics.

The Day of the Jackal, made in 1973 starring Edward Fox, political thriller, but not too heavy, really gripping though.

The Thomas Crown Affair (1968 film) starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Very classy thriller and a classic.

To Catch a Thief with Cary Grant and Grace Kelly, a lighthearted romantic thriller set in the south of France, so very stylish with lovely scenery.

Rear Window with James Stewart and Grace Kelly, a mystery thriller.

These are all old films, but classics and are perfect (I think) when you are not feeling that great.

A slighter more recent one I love is The Big Chill, 1983 with William Hurt.

Hope you enjoy your afternoon of film viewing op, and feel better soon.

If you've got Prime the new Heads of State is a good fun action comedy film, perfect for mindless entertainment when you aren't well. I hope you feel better soon.

Not a film but I’m also lying in bed today feeling a bit under the weather and am just about to watch the second series of white lotus. Found the first one a bit weird but I enjoyed it so going to crack on.
Hope you feel better soon 💐
