Do you buy present for partner or card from baby on their birthday?

If it was your partners birthday, would you buy them a mummy/daddy card from the baby? Or a present as well or at least write “to Jane doe/mummy” in the card?

Yes me and my partner do this with each other. I'll usually buy a small present too

I did for my partner and k appreciator it isn’t always they thing, but after a rough start I wanted a card that said mummy. I bought myself one and that was bad as it made him feel bad and I’m spending more energy to make him think it’s ok that he didn’t get me one!

No. I think it's a really odd thing to do.
