I am sitting in car, catching up on MN and answering a couple of emails whilst waiting for DC having music lesson.
Thankful for a bit of a breeze today!

Been to an intervals session with my running group, had a shower, shoved a whole pizza down my face, sat in the car so dd2 could drive her boyfriend home (she’s a learner) and now watching goggle box.

Doesn't work though. And they've not read my last two messages anyway! Probably wake up to a very early reply as I did this morning.

No! Hopefully in the morning.

She and my dad were visiting on holiday, last time they were both here was 4 years ago so have to make the most of the time. We spent a week with more family and there was a lot of playing of uno, Alias, and love letter - the kids played for hours every day.

I really like Alias though, I use it as a warm up activity in my English class at work. So much fun!

My sister and family lives abroad but comes to the UK every summer and during those 2 weeks, we get all the games out. We love it! Looking forward to it already 😁

Brilliant, sounds like fun! I'm taking the kids over to the UK next summer for 4 weeks hopefully so we'll play so much games with family and visit everyone we can.

The best kind of summers is spent overseas with family! ❤️

Almost all my childhood holidays were holidays visiting family, definitely the best kind of holiday - I'd never enjoy a sit by the pool all day kind of holiday, would get bored out of my mind.

No I don't, I should start playing with her, that'd be fun.

Well , I’m sitting on my couch drinking tea & on Mumsnet , will shower in about half hour & go to the local markets ..
Weather here In Ireland not great 🤷🏻‍♀️..
My dd1 gone to a festival in Dublin & my dd2 still asleep , I’ll wake her shortly, see does she want to come with me ( I’m certain she won’t ) ..
I’ve a date this eve , he’s nice enough 😊

I've already been out to the shops with DC3 whilst the rest of the family were doing the housework, and now we're having a spot of lunch.
DH will take DCs out to a birthday party later so I will have the nice, clean tidy house to myself for a few hours 👌

Had a lazy start with coffee in bed doing some scrolling, watching a few YouTube influencers .Had a major sort and clear of empty bottle etc in my cosmetics drawers . Just had brekkie . Rain has stopped so will get out with the dog while I can then we have some shelves to put up!

I'm at a summer event for my last day of holiday. I've been throwing chains at holes in a board and horseshoes at a post to see if I get a trophy. I will not be getting a trophy
