Please get off your phone and look where you're going

So fed up of this. I'm visually impaired which annoyingly means I have to rely on others to use their eyes and look where they're going.

Except no one does

I've lost count of the amount of times I've been walking around a railway station with a member of staff whose had to tell someone to look where they're going instead of looking at their phone

And I almost got run over this morning by some idiot cyclist who was cycling along on their phone

Why has this got worse since Covid?

It seems to be the law that if people walk and use their phone at the same time that they meander in a zig-zag way that is impossible to predict. I feel your pain.

I echo your post . I am obviously physically disabled and use a walker. I’ve lost count of the times people have literally walked into me or causing me to swerve out of their way, which causes me pain
I agree, attitudes have got worse since covid and it feels like a big Fuck you, to anyone who dates cause them any inconvenience
