How much did Disney in Florida cost you?

Im 30 in spring 2028 so want to start planning/saving and go around my birthday but mainly for the kids haha!

My kids will be 7 and 5 so I think great ages where theyre young and its magical but a bit older so a long flight isn't too bad etc

How did you save costs or not go too expensive?

I did see disney all star music/movie hotels are the cheapest and are quite good, when we've been to Paris we stay at Cheyenne which is one of the 'budget' hotels but lovely imo

Just looking for best tips on how to do it well but not spend money where we dont need to, got plenty of time to start saving !

I did just go on the website and put in the holiday for next spring and add on tickets etc just to see a rough quote and it was showing £6500 (flights, luggage, hotel, park tickets , and a quick service meal they've added on?)

This is before any spends of course

Can’t help with final costs as we are due to go in 21 days however we got the Orlando freedom tickets for 2 weeks and it works out £1000 each for 3 of us and that was with Black Friday discount!! flights were also £1000 each as we can only go July due to my job! Very pricey holiday, hoping it’lll be worth it!

we are staying offsite in a villa and hiring a car!
