Recommendations for oestrogen gel / cream / etc

Hi, my gynaecologist has recommended I try one of these for vaginal dryness post menopause. My GP won't prescribe it because I went to see a private gynaecologist about another matter so I've looked online but they're so expensive I'd like to get some recommendations from you lovely people before I shell out for something!

Go back to your GP and explain that you have this vaginal dryness and need a prescription for something. I don’t know why on earth they wouldn’t give you something.

I have ‘Vagifem’ it’s a little pessary - I use it twice a week.
