Sitting on the floor- how to make myself more comfortable

DD aged 2 is in a small floor bed, so not enough room to lie down with her. But she still needs someone to stay sitting next to her/holding her hand, to get to sleep.

I'm currently sitting on the floor, against a cushion, and am incredibly uncomfortable.

A normal chair wouldn't work as I'd be too high.

Any ideas please? She does love the floor bed so I don't want to change that.

A yoga block or bolster?

A bean bag?

Thanks. I don't find bean bags very comfy, and the yoga block looks a bit difficult to balance on.

Maybe what I'm looking for doesn't exist!

Yoga block is surprisingly comfortable. It just gives you a bit of height so you're not crumpled up.

Look up "floor chair" - lots of options out there.

If your hips are tight, sitting on the floor will be uncomfortable. Might be an idea to look at that too?

How about a tatami chair? Not very expensive on eBay

A low stool like a footstool?

Oh, tatami chairs look good, never heard of them before!

Seems like very low chairs are also coming up as gaming chairs, not totally sure why people want to sit on the floor to play video games but these could be a good option too.

Take a cushion off the sofa

Fishing/camping chair. They are really low down, don't take up much space, fold flat when not in use and can be used in the garden or at the beach etc too
