Holidays and having hair up in a sunhat

If you like having your hair up and you like sunhats, can you share some ideas please for which hats and hairdos you use?

For example I like a large-brimmed straw hat, but the only way I can think of to get my long hair up and off the back of my neck would be a low bun.

Which sunhats and hairdos do you use on holiday?

Dd loves the ponytail friendly baseball caps by Vimhue - she uses the elastic back of the hat to make a bun, or threads her ponytail through.

I have this same dilemma

I am seriously debating a wraparound visor…à la Florida retirement village lady… but some brands do some chic ones these days (Eugenia Kim)

I have a Solbari wide brimmed sun hat that has a hole for your pony tail at the back - probably not the most elegant but it's the best solution I've found. Also if it's windy it helps stop the hat blowing away!

I’ve seen them being worn on And Just Like That, so that’s my green light to get one!

But I do worry about sun damage on my hair if it’s exposed, so occasionally do plaits.

I plait my hair and then pin it up under my hat. I normally do 1 plait but sometimes I do 2.
