Suddenly can’t really see

I wear glasses and am short sighted. Yesterday my glasses worked fine. Today, things are blurry. It’s such a drastic change and usually when I need new glasses it deteriorates over time and is not a sudden change. Has anyone else experienced this

@ErrolTheDragon alright lighten up! You can't see the funny side in OP being told it was a serious emergency get to Moorfields NOW and then having to come back and admit it was a migraine?

Like I said, I've had these migraines and panicked myself at first.

Not if there’s any chance someone who has read this thread subsequently has a vision problem, thinks ‘oh it might just be a migraine’ and doesn’t follow up. Apart from DHs current problem, my DF had acute glaucoma which came on incredibly fast, if he’d waited to get it checked it could have blinded him. Puts a bit of a dent in my usual sunny disposition I’m afraid!
