What takeaway tonight?

We are thinking of takeaway tonight, not sure if that’s ethically dubious given the weather? But it’s where we are.

Not Indian food or Thai, 9 year old isn’t the biggest fan.

we live in a city, so quite a few options, but we tend to be quite dull.

so, suggestions please! Inspiration? What are you having this evening?

M@S are literally doing a picky tea bundle, we had it last week 😂

It’s 26 degrees here, but we collected. And no, they all looked absolutely fine 😆😆😆

And I had three chicken selects and a salad. Plus a couple of halloumi fries.

Sushi, I had some fantastic sushi yesterday

Didn't realise I was too late!

It's 29 here even now, I wouldn't want to be on a motorbike in protective gear!

I need my family to go away (temporarily) so I have an excuse for a ridiculous amount of sushi.

And left half of it?!

Do you live in a city. Ours all come in cars. Had one come on a cycle once but never had a motorbike although I wish they did it would get here before it got cold

No a seaside town, most are either on motorbikes/mopeds or those electric bikes

Sushi for us. I would have preferred Indian but DH was really keen on sushi.

I’m getting a sashimi platter as I don’t like rice.

My choice would have been KFC or Chinese. We’re having ham & cheese salad

I live in the North and it’s so cold today, I want my share of the nice weather everyone else seems to enjoy! I fancy a big roast but I have nobody to cook it for me so we had an Indian instead!

We have just had a kebab from our recently discovered Turkish place. Only discovered it as it's recently won some awards. It's so delicious. It comes in a little round foil tray with the most amazing Turkish rice, beautiful fluffy homemade bread, homemade chilli and garlic sauces and an amazing salad, I get extra pickled chillis and gherkins. I have mine topped with chicken and lamb shish and am already looking forward to the leftovers after a couple of glasses of wine 🍷.

That sounds fabulous! We have found that the shish etc freeze really well for future meals! The portions are usually huge with some of these places.

No, I managed 3 selects and a small side salad. I knew we were having a takeaway so ate accordingly through the day.

I had a picky dinner. Antipasti platters, couple of salads, meat on skewers from the Airfryer. It was nice.

That does sound nice. Hurrah for air fryers. Did you make the skewers? I’ve had some nice itsu ones recently.
