I’m a big podcast fan, just love listening whilst doing housework, in the car, going for walks etc
But have found myself listening to the same old 5-6 and am feeling a bit uninspired! Would love to get some recommendations for something fresh to tune into. If you can be arsed to explain why you like it that would be a bonus🧡🙏

If you like politics then The News Agents is definitely one to try. Intelligent commentary and interviews on the day’s topics from Emily Maitliss, Jon Sopel and Lewis Goodall.

I’ve recently started listening to British Scandal and I enjoy it.

Cautionary Tales with Tim Harford. It’s about things going wrong and people making mistakes. Very interesting and a fantastic theme tune.

I’ve been listening to The Rest is History from the beginning. I love it, the range of topics, the guests and the sheer weight of knowledge on display are phenomenal.

The Rest is History - I just love those two telling me stories. It's the only podcast I've ever paid for and it's worth it.

Off Menu - hosted by Ed Gamble and James Acaster. They host a ‘dream restaurant’ and invite a celebrity guest in each week to talk about their favourites foods. Sounds dull but it’s often very funny.

Kermode and Mayo’s Film Review - even if you’re not a film buff this is very engaging, the relationship and banter between the two of them

The Kitchen Cabinet - hosted by Jay Rayner. Format is a bit like Gardeners’ Question Time, but it’s about food. Each episode takes place in a different town/city around the country so there’s always a bit of a local slant to the things they discuss.

Oh I’m liking the sound of the foodie ones!

Oh, forgot about that one. I went to a recording of the Kitchen Cabinet in my local city and it was a fun (and free!) evening out.

Dam parenting- I think it’s supposed to be for people who’ve moved to the Netherlands all about babys/ toddlers/ kids, but actually they’re so chilled and you pick up nice parenting/ psychology/ calming tips!!
