How much do you pay for life insurance?

I know this is very individual but roughly how much do you pay per month? What age were you when you took it out/level of cover/any health issues?

I really need to get some, but budget isnt fantastic & wanted to have a rough idea of what to expect before I start looking!

48, no health conditions, just started a new policy and it's £15 a month for the next 20 years

For context I’m 39, looking for probably about 350k of cover (maybe critical illness/other add ons) have (well controlled by medication) hypertension (although non smoker, normal BMI, no other illnesses)

I work for the NHS so as it stands have a minimal payout via pension & 6 months sick pay
