M&S thank you e-card email - is it genuine?

I've had a mail saying M&S will be sending an e-card to apologise for the problems with orders after their cyber hack incident. Has anyone else received this? I can see why they might be trying to entice shoppers back and restore some goodwill but I can equally see how it could be a scam!

I haven’t had one? I spend loads in M&S normally! I’m not a sparks member I don’t think is that way? Pretty annoyed

I got one and didn't have an order cancelled. I got my order literally the day it all kicked off, then couldn't do the returns until they were able to process it.

Out of interest, how much is it please?

I ordered mine on the Friday and collected it on the Saturday from store that Easter weekend, it was beauty stuff as I had a 20% plus 5% off so fortunately it was something I didn't need to return, I haven't had any emails about vouchers at all.

That’s why I messaged them. The reply email is dodgy AF 😆 they could have given a better explanation in the email too.

Best way to check I find is check the email it was sent from, you can usually get a sense from that!

Mine is for ten too but I also missed out on a spend £30 get £5 off clothing sparks offer with the order they cancelled 🤔 so i wonder if the basic is a fiver plus any sparks money you may have missed out on/lost.

I got £10. Had an order for about £130 cancelled back in April. Added to sparks card.

Yes I think I had used an offer on clothing in my order so might be that.

I got £10 and my order was an £8.50 pack of pants 😆
