What's this lump I now have??

I've discovered a lump on my inner thigh. Its almost like an extra nipple - as in its not nipple shaped but feels like part of me. My hand glides over it and then feels it. It's like it's just part of my skin and a bit fatty as if it's always been there. So it doesn't feel like there's anyway I can "pop" it. I can't tie it off like a skin tag. Help??

I'm a large person so I do have excess fat but this feels more weird.

Looks like a lipoma, a harmless fatty lump. Not medically trained though!

It could be a lipoma or something more serious, only a doctor can have a look and assess it for you.

Is it the sort of thing you're supposed to show a doctor then? It's not painful, red, etc... It's just weirdly "there.".

I'm hoping it will just go away but googling lipomas if that's what it is suggests it won't 😳.
