Organising a kids birthday party

Is it too late to organise a party in late July? Especially if it’s in the summer holidays, I don’t know if many would be available to come.

Chances are that a lot of people will be on holiday. You could ask DC’s best friends’ parents when exactly they’re going away then plan something smaller that works around that. Or we’ve been invited to a few parties that are the first week of Sept after school goes back but the kid’s actual birthday was back in August - would doing that work?
