LE Taxi to Designated School

My 4 year old needs a taxi to get to school in September. I'm nervous. Does she have to travel without me? If I go with her how do I get back home?

Where I am kids who have a taxi provided to school also have an escort in the taxi with them, it’s not expected that the parent travels with them and if they’re collecting other children there wouldn’t be room for an accompanying parent. Check the travel arrangements with your local authority.

My DS2 went in a taxi (special school) from age 3.5. It was fine. He had an escort and over the years sometimes it was just him, some years a mini bus with other children depending on which firm had the contract.
No parents do not accompany them.
Honestly they get used to it really quickly ..my ds2 loved his taxi rides!
