Dumb crap a teacher tried to teach us that was not true

1. I had a teacher that said blood is in fact blue because we have blue veins it turns red when it meets oxygen.
   I got a detention because i said miss my nan and mum are nurse`s and thats not true.

2. A boy in our class said miss can the moon come out in day time she replied with no it can not it has to be dark he pointed out the window whats that then it was the moon she said it was the sun without heat.

3. I asked my teacher if sharks live in the uk sea said name of beach he said no no sharks in any uk waters and no reports.
   Well a week later a shark was in uk water at said beach I took in the paper and showed him he said its all made up as sharks are not in uk waters.

Do you have any crazy untrue things your teachers thought they was right about.

The bible is true in its entirety. We protested But. But.Miss.Told do shut it children.

Teachers are human and fallible, and I'd hope that most of us could happily and graciously admit if we'd got something wrong.

I do think that on a thread where you're calling people 'dumb' though, it might be wise to ensure that one's grammar and punctuation is a little less erratic.

I do believe the op intended a funny thread with humorous anecdotes
