Anyone gone private for an OCD assessment/diagnosis?

Have mentioned it so many times to my GP and even booked an appointment to say I would like to get diagnosed and they just refer me to CBT therapy online or change the subject.

I get PIP so am thinking I would like to use that to pay for a private assessment as alot of my issues involved in reciving PIP are related to the OCD and I feel in these times where people are losing their claims it would help to have a diagnosis.

Any idea where I could go please?

CBT is the therapy as far as I’m aware for OCD. Are you sure you don’t have a formal diagnosis.

The therapist will know if it's OCD or not.

If you want to be formally diagnosed you would need to search for a private psychiatrist who offers diagnosis and go down that route.
It will probably be fairly expensive as I saw one local to me where ADHD diagnosis process was about £850.
