Cadent replacing gas pipes. Reconnection question!

Cadent are due to replace the pipes in the road (up to the property).

Obviously gas and boiler etc has to be off. When they reconnect, what appliances do they check? Anyone any experience?

Is it the boiler and hob? Electric oven but we do have a never used decorative flame gas fire (not been fired up for 15 years) Yikes!

They will check anything gas, so they checked if we had a gas fire (we don’t) and did the hob and boiler. We’re here 10 mins or so.
