Anyone else tried to buy a used car recently?

Anyone else finding buying a used car...err unexpectedly difficult? Look on the web, see a car at the garage or dealership but it isn't in good condition or the servicing isn't as described? (On repeat). Let alone getting them to value my current car. Anyone had any luck with it?

I did last week. Easy process from the garage POV the only issue came from the banks fraud department being a bit over zealous and delaying things a few days.

I think it depends on budget and quality of the used car garage. Find one that has good reviews and does part ex. It took me ages to find one but then it was straight forward at the garage.
They valued mine on the appointment when I looked at the car and then took that off the price.
My car was high mileage but I got more for it than the we buy any car quote.
Picked up the new car and dropped mine off the following week.
