I love the Starbucks Hibiscus tea which is the brand Teavana and I'd love to drink it at home but it seems not to be readily available in the UK it is on amazon but very expensive. Amy know of a similar tasting dupe available in the UK for this tea?

I buy hibiscus flowers usually here hibiscus, makes lovely tea. I have also some that was a special at Lidl from a brand called Good Earth UK which is hibiscus, rose and red berries which is really nice.

There's another brand on Amazon for £4.99, worth a try?

@AmelieSummer25 what brand is it? I was hoping for an apple and cinnamon version like the starbucks version.

@Igneococcus I will try that, I have tried quite a few hibiscus teas but I really like the starbucks apple and cinnamon version in particular. I do have some hibiscus flower but haven't made tea with them yet, not sure if I could just add some apple and cinnamon bark?

I'm sure you could just add that. I make a pot of tea with the hibiscus flowers, a bag of turmeric tea (for my joints, not sure it's doing anything but I like it) and cardamon seeds. I have one of those pots with an insert. I sometimes add other things, like mint which is currently going wild in the garden, or lemon verbena. I love the hibiscus as the base flavour.

I just searched on Anazon

srarbucks hibiscus tea... the. Lots of others came up too. Obviously buying small packs is a cheaper layout, but not as economical per cup, but a cheaper option to see if you like it.

'The Natural Health Market' is the one I mentioned, but plenty of others

I can't drink the 'apple & cinnamon' ones as they give me a headache. I had assumed you wanted the hibiscus flavour.

i think I'll try one in Starbucks.

rotiegg · 20/06/2025 22:30

@AmelieSummer25 It is the hibiscus one, the starbucks Hibiscus also has apple and cinnamon in it. So I was looking for a tea that has all three in. So if you don't like apple and cinnamon then steer clear of the starbucks one I think.

@Igneococcus I'll try that, thanks!

is it the Plain Hibiscus Tea or Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher (Iced Drink) that's good?

Edited

Oh thanks for the heads up. When I looked it said

Bright tropical notes of papaya & mango with hibiscus, lemongrass & a hint of cinnamon

no mention of Apple. I'll see if I can find a more detailed ingredients list before I go.

its the apple that gives me a headache. Shame as I like it!!!

rotiegg · 21/06/2025 11:44

@AmelieSummer25 I see on the starbucks website it says no apple but the Teavana drink you can buy in the US has apple. Probably best to check that the one they have in store is apple free if it's a headache trigger for you. If not I hope you enjoy it, its fantastic!
