What’s Everybody Up To This Weekend?

Anyone up to much? I’m just chilling with a magazine & have not long finished an alcohol free fruit cider. It was ok but think I’ll stick to Thatchers Zero which is very similar to the real thing. DH is working til 8 then we’re having Cumberland sausages, chips, peas & sweetcorn for tea ( just me as DH not a fan). Might go for a walk afterwards. No plans for tomorrow although DBro is down staying with my folks so might see him. Only a flying visit this time. Really want to go to the Farmers Market but still can’t drive & buses are a bit rubbish. DH & I are going to go & watch the sunset over the sea as it’s the longest day. Might have KFC. No plans as yet for Sunday either. Will have KFC if we didn’t have it the day before. DD16 is angling for a Maccies delivery tomorrow lunchtime.

I Iive in Glastonbury so the town is filling up with festival goers who come to visit the town before the festival begins.
Tomorrow I'm off to the Chalice Well for the open Summer Solstice ritual and then off to have a coffee with my friend.
Sunday I'm going to see the early showing of 23 years later at the cinema then in the afternoon gardening and a dump run.
It's fantastic being up and about again after spending 15 months in bed waiting for surgery. I've had my surgery now and I'm up and running. Going back to work on 1st July. I've been working from home but miss my friends and colleagues.

Teacher here. Leaving in 4 weeks and gutted I have still got to do some work tomorrow. Will get that done then read. Hot weather does not suit me so I will hibernate indoors.

Sheep are being clipped tomorrow morning then fly treated and marked. I will help get them set up then retire to my sun lounger I think!

Dd is camping with friends for her birthday bbq/sleepover - they are all in the hot tub just now.

Sunday probably go out for brunch then potter around getting jobs done. Two more weeks to work then it's the summer hols 🥳

Relaxing day and just watching TV now and on MN
Great grandchildren coming to stay from tomorrow mid day untill Sunday pm so I will tidy up later tonight or in the morning.

It’s too hot to do much - 31 predicted tomorrow and anything over 22 or so is such an energy zapper. I’m in London no escape! I’ll do my crochet (a wool throw for my sons birthday In footie team colours - just looking at it makes me sweat).

I'm currently in Edinburgh. Flying home tomorrow evening

I’m waiting for my five guys to be delivered. I’m starving and they got the order wrong first time and I couldn’t eat it 🙈
Early football match for ds2(10) in the morning followed by a quick whizz round the summer fair. Dd2(14) has a netball tournament an hour away in the afterooon. Might go out for some tea when we get back depending how everyone is feeling.
Sunday ds1(11) has a party and I think that’s it! Sundays are usually very busy for us with sports but things are finally winding down thank goodness.

I’m knitting a cardigan. Yes - in this heat! I have an Etsy shop for baby cotton knitwear and all my lovely American and Scandinavian customers who appreciate handmade and buy have sadly disappeared due to recent trade regulations/ tariffs. So I’m trying to come up with something that will appeal more to local customers whilst also looking for a job during school hours… Anyway, my yarn is a gorgeous mix of alpaca and silk and I’m really happy with what I’m working on right now.
There’s a vintage festival in town which we will go and check out and will do a nature/ woodland walk in the late afternoon.
