Please help me identify an 80s TV series - Swapped at birth

This is driving me crackers and I’ve googled and Reddited etc but no luck so far but I reckon mumsnet will know.

It was a TV series or maybe a made for TV film. Late 80s or early 90s. Probably American. It was about two teenage girls who were accidentally?swapped at birth and grew up near each other. One girl had short blond hair and rode a motorbike, or her dad did. The other girl was darker.
That’s all I can remember really.

I thought it might be @Witchywoo41 but the girls in ‘my’ version were older teenagers and I think these girls are 9 or 10 ish. The single dad bringing up the surviving girl feels right though.

I wonder if I’ve conflated two different series. In my one the motorbike girl would kind of hang around the other girl’s house.

The one where one of them was deaf?
