Do you choose your name in Starbucks?

I never use my actual name, I choose a random name for my order. Anyone else?

I always say Pam. It’s my secret tribute to Victoria Wood, listening to random baristas call out, ‘Pam? Latte for Pam?’

If DC or DH order it's "Fanny" for me. Latte for Fanny, yes, thanks.

I have a name which most Scottish people will have heard of but which is unusual or hard to spell outside Scotland. Like Ishbel, Iona, Eilidh, Catriona sort of thing.

In Starbucks I am Emma or Kate.

I don’t do Starbucks etc but if I order for my kids I ask for Voldemort or Demon. Years ago when the kids were tiny we took them bowling, didn’t realise the names went up on a big screen for everyone to see. I’d used ‘family’ weird nicknames.

Kay always Kay because Starbucks staff look sideways at me at Karatema! The one time my DH was with me he said to me “but your name doesn’t start with a K or sound anything like it!” I smiled and just said “do you want some weirdo actually knowing my name?” That shut him up!
