My care records were redacted

I requested my care records from children’s services. A lot has been redacted including a file named observations and all the assessments they made. What would they do that?

It’s very common for information to be redacted, there’s a few reasons, to protect the identity of third parties, to protect sensitive information, even to match legal requirements- not all info is legally able to be kept forever.
