Busy household here, two DCs at primary, both DH and I have our own businesses, two dogs…

Ideally something DH and I can share.

I need organising!

I have Sweepy for cleaning routine which is brilliant.

I organise my life through a combination of Outlook calendar (my work one, to avoid the dreaded double-diary problem) and Trello which I find absolutely invaluable.

DH is entirely paper based using a teacher's planner. I have given up trying to get him to use Outlook's calendar to be able to share with me, but he just can't look at it frequently enough compared to the paper planner.

Once every couple of weeks we sit down on a Sunday night and "do diaries" and go through dates and appointments we both need to know about, who's in and out each night for dinner, pay anything that needs paying, and talk about forward planning of life admin like holidays, car servicing, dentist appointments etc. We used to do this every Sunday when the kids were younger and logistics needed planning like a military campaign, but have found we only have to do it every few weeks now they're older and more independent from us.

Also endless emailing/whatsapping about logistics. Communication is key!
