my close and lovliest friend is living near Darlington with her two children. She’s not from the UK but has the privilege of being sponsored (visa) and is working 7 days a week to give her children the life, safety and opportunities they couldn’t have had if she had stayed in her country. She’s doing care work and is very grateful for her job. The other side of this is she’s absolutely exhausted, needing to earn more and extremely lonely. She can work 20 hours a week outside her sponsor job which she’s doing in doing care work as the extra 20 hrs. For these she earns 13 pounds an hour. Any ideas what work she could do that she would earn more per hour so she could cut some hours to have some time with her kids/rest. Or anywhere she could work where she’s stationed at the care home. She currently drives from house to house looking after the elderly. So she’s out for 16th so a day and paid for 8 because she gets paid for time with clients and not driving to clients/breaks between clients where there’s not enough time to drive home for a break etc etc. she is the kindest most honest lovely person I know.
