In recent weeks, I have noticed that Facebook now allows us to see everyone who watches our public stories, so friends, followers and non followers. Before this, we could only see friends names and at the bottom, it would say ‘100+ others’ for example. It wouldn’t show them though.
I have professional mode switched on and quite a significant amount of followers due to losing a lot of weight a few years ago.
Anyway, DP and I have been together a couple of years now and are expecting a baby girl in September.
I have noticed that DP’s ex GF constantly watches my FB stories despite not following me. So she manually searches for my profile multiple times a day. She is always one of the first to watch. Bit of a backstory, DP ended the relationship with her around 6 weeks before we started dating. He is 8 years older than her and wanted to start a family and settle down. He didn’t feel she was the right person for that as she was very immature and was in a different stage of life. There were other issues too.
DP’s best friend and his partner were gutted about their relationship breaking down as the two women were close. They started to try and come between DP and I so we recently had to put our foots down and make clear that it’s incredibly unsupportive and back off a bit.
DP’s ex is in another relationship so I can’t work out why she is stalking. Facebook wouldn’t have notified her about me being able to see her viewing my stories, so she thinks I am blind to it.
Not really sure what to make of it.
