What cake for very hot picnic

my mum has a big birthday at the weekend, we’re going for a picnic and i’m meant to be making a cake.
Was planning on making Victoria sandwich and decorating with lots of fruit but it’s going to be 29 degrees so I don’t think it will survive.
Have been thinking along the lines of a lime loaf cake but it doesn’t feel that special.

Can anyone suggest a special cake that will survive a hot car journey and picnic?

How about a Victoria sandwich but take cool box with lots of ice and keep fruit and the cream whipped to very firm and ready to spread. Should be very quick to slap on the cream and fruit and then nice and refreshing if cold.

depends how far you have to drive.

Is there anywhere nearby that sells ice cream cakes? Can you order & pick up when it’s time for dessert?

Can you make something is a Bundt tin with a drizzle over it? The cake can be something quite simple but the shape will make it look fancy?
