No wonder AIBU is so over used!

I've just realised that the first page you reach on Mumsnet now looks like this (screenshot below) so that your options to get to the next page and start talking are only 1) active or 2) AIBU. Why can't you see an obvious way to a full list of talk topics, or even popular topics, on the first page? Why is AIBU the default?

That's not how I viewed MN. I go through the trending posts. Not always aibu.

Lots of people misuse aibu "for traffic"

I don’t get anything like what you describe when I open MN either in the app or go to mn talk in the browser.

I wish I could hide "AIBU"
It's rarely anyone thinks they might actually be unreasonable, and is just a topic wedged into the AIBU style, and generally tedious click baitey topics.

@itsturtlesallthewaydown. You can hide any topics you don't want to see. Have a look in your settings .

Ha, you learn something new everyday!

That's not exactly a very intuitive place to put that - would be much better as a "hide" button on the thread topic itself.
