Asda Rewards - 60p off a shop

Intrigued if anyone has got anything other than 60p off their shop with the current Asda Rewards promo available when you scan your app when you shop?
60p off is all I get.

About 2 years ago they had something similar around Christmas time I think and I’d often get £2 or £3 coupons. Nothing like that this time!

Same, it’s gone a bit crap. We do our big shop there and last year had well over £100 in our cash pot by Xmas. So far this year we’re on £20. Barely any offers or ‘missions’ to complete. We use other supermarkets occasionally too, and I must admit that the weekly 60p isn’t exactly retaining my customer loyalty!

KateWithTheGoodHair · 16/06/2025 21:34

Yeah it used to be a lot better!

My daughter goes in about five times a week when at work to buy lunch and spends about a fiver each time. Since the beginning of May she’s won 60p every time, but also won £6 in the cashpot twice

JustAnInchident · 16/06/2025 21:37

I’ve had three 60p off coupons now… seems like a weirdly specific number, why not 50p? Anyway, yea, Asda rewards is shit now, used to be quite good, easy to build up money off but not anymore.

I got £6 off on my spin last week. All the others have been 60p though.

I am stupid, it’s for their 60 year thing. I’ll be quiet now 😂

WatermelonSugarLow · 16/06/2025 21:47

Absolutely right. I’ve had nearly £100 in previous years and used it at Christmas which was a huge help but it’s nothing like that now. They’ve stopped Blue Light Rewards, the spin to win prizes are pennies and the coupons are never relevant to me. It’s really gone downhill and it’s a real shame.

I don’t care, I’d rather the prices are consistently lower (which they are now) than a more generous “reward” scheme.

threelittlescones · 16/06/2025 22:14

I've had one £6 off coupon and about five 60p off ones. I remember when they started Asda Rewards and it felt like they were throwing money around left right and centre. Now, not so much.

Melasma · 16/06/2025 22:20

Only ever 60p! I think I’m going to swap back to Aldi as we only used Asda as the cash pot rewards made it as cheap- now Asda seems the same price as Morrisons and other shops.

LegoTherapy · 16/06/2025 22:21

I’ve had about 8 lots of 60p and one £6.

MaryTheTurtle · 16/06/2025 22:26

1st time was £6 off, now it’s 60p

I hate there’s no milestones - I had almost £200
last year now I’ve got £3.99. It must have cost aAsda a fortune

SlipperyLizard · 16/06/2025 22:31

I won one £6 off, rest 60p. Someone on local
FB group won £60.

I won £100 cash pot in one last year. I agree that generally the rewards scheme has turned crap.

repeatingabaselessclaim · 16/06/2025 22:57

You're only getting 60p because it's Asda's promo for their 60th birthday.

IfYouPutASausageInItItsNotAViennetta · 16/06/2025 23:02

If you forget your bags, it's basically one and a half free bags.

You're not going to be buying TwiX off Elon just yet, at that rate.

mylovedoesitgood · 16/06/2025 23:06

Yeah it’s all gone to shit now. I’m annoyed they stopped the Blue Lights Reward but I guess they did a cost analysis and saw they were losing money. I may as well delete the app - they’re using my data for their own purposes yet I get fuck all.

IfYouPutASausageInItItsNotAViennetta · 16/06/2025 23:38

It is quite handy that you can use multiple coupons in one go - as I discovered by accident.

If you shop little and often, like I tend to, you can end up with 5 coupons and then grab £3 off your shopping (or get £3-worth of stuff totally free) - which is strangely a lot more satisfying than it probably should be!

Somebody needs to explain to whomever programs the tills, though, that it's a completely phone-based system. Telling you to put your used coupons to one side - like they used to ask you to do at Morrisons and then (usually unsuccessfully) post them in - is pure silliness. No, I'm not going to leave my phone behind or post it into your till for the sake of 60p off, tyvm!
