online flower delivery

I am not able, for various reasons, to go to see my daughter on her birthday, so I want to send some flowers online. I do not live close enough to use local florists etc. I have found things like Interflora very expensive but in the past have used lots of various online ones but with varying results. I do not want to spend a fortune. Our van has just failed its MOT, costing us over £1500! Plus, I have proms, graduations, etc., so good, reasonably priced flowers would be useful. could anyone recommend a brand, please?

Letterbox flowers tend to be cheaper. Bloom and Wild is nice and you usually get money off as a first order.

Redglitter · 14/06/2025 18:37

Id Google florists near her and check the reviews. I've always found the quantity and quality from local florists to be far better

Uricon2 · 14/06/2025 18:42

Cornish Blooms are nice and I've found reliable. Seasonal flowers too.

Bloom and wild - they’re online and the quality is very good

This. Just give them a ring and they’ll sort you out for much better value and quality. Or some also have websites that you can order online from. The big companies are rubbish.

I got some letterbox flowers yesterday from Freddie's Flowers- they were a peony bouquet and stunning

londongirl12 · 14/06/2025 20:09

Another vote for bloom and wild

Steelworks · 14/06/2025 20:13

Bunches have always been quite good.

Freddie's flowers are always great quality and unusual blooms.

amooseymoomum · 15/06/2025 15:24

thank you some good suggestions.
I used to ring the local florist and pay for flowers to be sent for occasions, but sadly they have closed down. There are no other ones near her.

Bloom & Wild are lovely but bear in mind they only do letterbox flowers.

pancakestastelikecrepe · 15/06/2025 16:54

I recently sent a friend an orchid from Bloom and Wild - it's lovely and came in a nice ceramic pot

MrsMitford3 · 15/06/2025 16:59

I use bloom and wild for my dd. Reliable and nice flowers.

I also sent her an afternoon tea from Betty's one year which was a huge hit.

edited to add the link I forgot 😂 https://www.bettys.co.uk

I’ve only once had a problem with M and S flower delivery once and got an almost immediate refund and apology; so I tend to use them

Coffeeishot · 15/06/2025 17:17

I use Moonpig, Bloom and wild and M&S all have been well received but from photos I think I liked bloom and wild

Cominghomesoon · 15/06/2025 20:03

I would google her local florists and check their website (if they have one) and reviews, and order through them. I always do this!

Scrabblingaround · 15/06/2025 20:11

I have always relied on M&S and Waitrose, but M&S still have no online ordering for flowers, and Waitrose have stoped doing it completely... so for Father's Day I tried bloom and wild. V good, lovely flowers, fast delivery on a Sunday for no extra.

MadisonAvenue · 15/06/2025 20:21

I’ve sent, and received, flowers from Bloom And Wild a number of times and they’ve always been lovely and long lasting.

Theres usually a discount for first purchases too.

muddyford · 15/06/2025 20:22

I've used Scilly Flowers many times, in the winter and spring, and Cornish Blooms.

MichelleCancelled · 15/06/2025 20:23

Scilly Flowers.
Amazing flowers.

Westfacing · 03/11/2025 17:11

My sister always sends me Bloom & Wild - they're really lovely and last a couple of weeks.

Sunshineandgrapefruit · 04/11/2025 19:26

Freddie's flowers are unusual and always great quality.

NotMeekNotObedient · 06/11/2025 22:38

I don't bother with online ones now. Just Google a local florist near your DD, tell them how much you want to spend and a colour, pay over the phone. It will be 100x better then anything online.

Bloom and Wilde are terrible.
