Teen part time job- a few questions?

Dd17 is my first so dont have any experience, she applied to a temp summer job at hollister with the possibility of going permanent. Shes also at 6th form doing 3 a levels . Have other teens been able to balance both? Im guessing she will work mainly evenings and weekends. Also, i get UC and she is a dependent on my claim, how will her earnings affect this please

I started PT work at 16, when I was at 6th form.

I worked one evening & Saturday or Sunday day time
Plus more hours in the holidays

It opened my eyes to the world of work, met lots of new people & provided me with my own money

I would say that working is definitely a good thing to do
