Parking near a station for Aston Villa

i am lucky enough to have tickets for Black Sabbath at villa and I’m just starting to think about the logistics!
Train tickets from daaan saaaf are already thin on the ground and there’s potentially a strike adding a complication.
so I was thinking, there must be a nice train station on the same line to drive to and park near or at.

any local knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
thank you

Lichfield Trent Valley or Lichfield City on the Cross City line:

Cannock or Hednesford on the Chase Line, both just a few miles from the M6 and both have car parks. Train to New St and then another to Witton.

The only issue you may have with doing this though is that the last train back will likely be before the end of the concert. I think the same might go for the Cross City line too.

Eeek this is why parking is either sold out or obscenely priced isn’t it.
I’m going to have to do some googling on times aren’t i

thank you both

Longbridge park & ride

I just booked parking through the Aston Villa site- I think we’re parked at a factory 15 mins walk away https://astonvillaparking.co.uk/music/events/jul-25/back-to-the-beginning-the-final-show

Oh wow didn’t even consider they’d be venue parking, just looked at just park and saw how ludicrously priced it was (I’d have my drive on there though!)

If it’s like Wembley, train might get me out of the queues and back on the m6 quicker though. Hmmm

streaming it from home would probably be easier

Gravelly Hill isn't that far away and on cross city line, you can park on street and could probably walk back honestly.
