Petty acts of revenge

I'm trying to leave a horrible workplace and all that gets me through the days is imagining petty acts of revenge I could take when I leave. I won't actually do anything but that doesn't stop me dreaming.

Have you ever done any petty revenge?

Today I thought about password protecting very useful files I've created. It would cause mild inconvenience until IT could sort it out for them.

Also spilling some tuna juice down the back of the radiator in a certain person's office.

I got one of those beepers. Costs about a fiver on eBay. Office desks have those plastic plugs on the ends of the iron bits. Pop one off, stick it on, plug back up :).

Random fire alarm-like beeps throughout the day.

Be the better person and just leave.

Genius, they would never look there

I’ve heard about someone who swapped the keyboard keys around for the office computers at the end of their last day.

Prawns would be better than tuna juice. Definitely not speaking from experience. 😂

Send a thank you card for being such a great team and don’t include them in it and don’t say goodbye to them just go . My thoughts are also some people in work places are not nice but you can leave and live a good happy life away from them - they remain not nice . Win win for you

Probably not much good to you but as a teenager I worked in a bakery shop, the women were awful to me, mocked me, gave me all the crap jobs, talked down to me, made me cry then laughed.
One of the jobs was to boil eggs to make sandwiches the next day, they left the boiled eggs in the shells and put them in the fridge.
On my last day I exchanged half of the boiled eggs for unboiled eggs, mixed them up good and proper, it still makes me chuckle 40 yrs later tothink of the mess it would have made when they were stood there at 7am cracking hard boiled egg shells on the counter.

Ooh these are good. The keyboard one would cause havoc as not one of them can touch type.

But needs you having the entire office empty and time to do it

I may or may not of done these....
Switch sugar for salt.
Sprinkle grass seeds in the carpet and dampen them.
Put fly maggots in discrete places.
Change one digit of their direct dial numbers.
Prawns in descrete places.
Frozen mice from pet shop in discrete places. They whiff when they start to rot.

Try to limit that. It will be more of struggle to act with dignity but you'll grow massively. That's how they are not how you are...
