Ask the parents what they need. All we wanted was clothes in the next size up as she already has so much stuff! 😅

My go to first birthday gift is a little backpack - JoJo maman Bebe used to do lovely ones. Very useful for nursery/playgroup/childminder or for carrying a snack, drink and nappy when you don't need a big nappy bag, or spare clothes when potty training.

Little nephews first birthday coming up, I’ve bought him a paddling pool. Smyths toys have a good sized one with toys for £25
