Help finding a teen bra for narrow shoulders

Hi,
My ND daughter (14) has suddenly grown and really needs to start wearing a proper bra. However she completely refuses to go for a fitting so we’ve resorted to trial and error, which is not going well! Can anyone help recommend ones to try? The criteria are:

  • Size 30E (as far as I can work out)
  • Suitable for narrow shoulders. She quite little, and all the ones she’s tried that have the right cup size have been too wide on the shoulders.
  • Suitable for a short body
  • Very comfortable- she has sensory issues so comfy strays and ideally no lace etc.
  • Non wired
  • Suitable look for a young teen
  • Ideally pink/nude to not show under a white school shirt

I’ve tried lots from M&S but all failed. I think she’d be okay with either a normal style bra or a sports one, as long as it was comfortable.

Many thanks!

High Street isn't going to be wonderfully helpful at that band/bust unfortunately, unless you have a Bravissimo, although H&M are getting a bit better size-wise.

Have a look at the Cleo by Panache line, it's designed for small band /larger cup and styles younger than their main line:

I don't know how that colourway would land under the uniform, but there's often a lot of older lines kicking about online, once you have a brand to start with.

Also worth getting on brastop and just filtering for non-wired bras. Again, once you have brands that look promising you can go on the hunt for colourways. Unfortunately everyone is bringing out their mad summer colours right now so it might be a bit of a quest.

You need Bravissimo. I took my teen in while I was having a fitting, and once she’d seen how it worked for me, she was ok to be fitted herself. Or you can do an online fitting, or just ask their advice on sizes to try. But nowhere else I’ve found goes narrow enough.

The other option is to try on lots of sports crop tops in XXS and see which fit, but from experience the ones that are tight enough on the band are only about up to a C/D cup on the bust. They fitted when she was about a 26 B/C, which was helpful as nothing else did.

I am narrow shouldered and a 30f currently. I like the Panache envy for my main bra but it will probably not give her the comfort she wants.
I do really like the flexifit linked above for when I want some coverage but not feel like I am wearing a bra. The support is ok as long as you are doing nothing more strenuous than walking.

Just been to Victoria’s Secret with my DD14, they were fab with her and where she wanted to go!
