Is there any restaurants here?

Never been here before and wondering if there is?

Ooh, are you going to the Morrissey concert?

purpleme12 · 04/06/2025 19:28

No I'm going to Robbie!

Thats sounds more fun! I am taking DS to see Morrissey, lifelong TT fan though. Enjoy

No restaurants there and nowhere that close to eat. They have burgers etc but nowhere you can sit down

HenPenJen1789 · 04/06/2025 21:03

I went recently and only found fast food type stands; disappointing as the website said something about 32 food venues?! Maybe I misread. But definitely nowhere to sit.

purpleme12 · 04/06/2025 21:05

Ok thanks that's really helpful

I assumed it had restaurants

Eat/ drink before you go. A £25 domino pizza isnt great or a £19 pound beer. Ticketmaster own the tills and set the prices. Your favourite act will be getting a generous slice of those prices not pizza.
No restaurants in there except maybe the Bentley Club. Get something in Mcr.

Eat in manchester and walk up or get the tram. There is nowhere there to eat and sit and enjoy decent food.

Ok thanks

This! Also take public transport and don't drive it's a nightmare leaving.

My mate has said she's happy to drive!

We parked at a tram stop and got the tram in. We got away pretty quick after our concert too. Close by is an Asda, Starbucks and a McDonald’s. Not great but if you wanted to get a coffee or some beforehand. I didn’t notice any other restaurants close by sorry.

purpleme12 · 04/06/2025 21:23

Thanks

When I’ve been I’ve parked in the Northern Quarter, eaten there and either got the tram there and back or walked.

Park at Ashton. It's free park and ride. Get the tram to Velo City or Etihad. Way back that way is quieter. Do NOT drive near the gig, you won't get away. I parked 30 mins walk away recently but the tram is better.

Ok will speak to my friend about this
