This is not a request for recommendations but to see if anyone else remembers what the one we had was that had one very inappropriate rhyming couplet.

Was trying to remember this for a friend yesterday. About 8 years ago we had a book we bought to prepare DC1 for the arrival of DC2. Somewhere in it it had a really dodgy bit that we found hilarious but I now can't quite remember. It rhymed "alright" and "tight" and it was something like the baby being alright because Mummy is nice and tight!

Came up in conversation yesterday with a friend who has a toddler and is due her second in a few weeks and just made me want to remember what it was.

Mummy Laid An Egg?

That rings a bell. I'll have to google and see if I can see inside

I'm trying to remember what the words are in "there's a house inside my mummy" I think that has something like that in it.

Yes it says "my daddy says he patient as his door is rather tight"

That's it! Thank you. Found someone reading it on YouTube.

Is it just me who found this page hilarious sounding?

It is quite amusing. We read that book a million times I can still quote most of it.
