Lions Mane - nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain?

Hi
I started lions mane at the weekend on a recommendation from a friend who has seen huge differences - we both have ADHD.

however I’ve had constant nausea, and yesterday awful abdominal pain and been up in the night throwing up.

i intend to stop it today to see what happens but wondered if anyone else had experienced these side effects or if it’s a coincidence

Do you have an allergy or intolerance to other mushrooms? Was the Lions Mane from a reputable source? I assume so, but thought I'd ask.

No no allergies to mushrooms and yes Nutrition Geeks who I’ve used a lot over the years.

I didn't really have any stomach related issues with lions mane but it would always give me headaches so I stopped taking it.

edited to add: I don't have issue when just eating the mushrooms like on toast but only when taking the dried powders in capsules. I think it was just the higher concentration that didn't agree with me.

Lions mane doesn’t agree with everyone. It’s quite powerful and has a lot of different effects. There’s a whole Reddit group about it, called something like Lions Mane recovery.
