First day of progesterone, feeling awful!

I posted this on the Menopause board but reposting here in the hope of some replies.

Everyone was so helpful on my previous thread about switching my HRT from patches to gel and progesterone tablets. This issue was discussed on my other thread but I’m hoping for some more advice/ reassurance please!
I took my first progesterone tablets last night and I know they can have a sedative effect, but my goodness I feel dreadful today! Very woozy and a bit dizzy, luckily nowhere to drive today but I have work tomorrow and have to get my son to College, I am concerned about driving in the morning if I take them again tonight to be honest!
Obviously I will ring GP in the morning (assuming I can get through) but should I just power through until I can get professional advice? Has anyone felt like this but adjusted over time? Someone on the other thread mentioned the vaginal pessaries, I wonder if I should ask for those instead?
Any words of wisdom very gratefully received thank you.

Im 6 weeks in to gel and oral progesterone so have just finished my first cycle of progesterone. I did feel slightly less good on the days with the progesterone but not bad enough to get in the way of anything. I didnt know for certain if it was linked so looking foward(?!) to seeing if it happens again when I start them next week for cycle 2.

Thanks for your reply, I’m pleased it hasn’t affected you too much. I have decided I’m not taking any tonight, I feel rotten. Will hopefully get some advice from GP tomorrow.
