Jumping on the nostalga bandwagon, what clothes/outfits did you wear and love as a 80s/90s child? For clarity, I won't be checking the date of said product or asking for evidence that it was enjoyed in these decades.
I loved me a sailor collar. I never discriminate and all styles were welcome whether it was a full on removable necker and woggle like a scout, dangly bits of extra neck fabric or extra wide lapels, I loved them all! My favourite was a knee length stripy crochet cardie with a HUGE collar with a big square of floppy floral fabric at the back of the neck. Stripes, flowers, sailor collar. Oh hell yeah!
Often worn with a pink ditsy cowboy shirt.
I also had some black faded baggy jeans with turn ups. Nothing unusual about that? Weeeell these ones had 80s cartoon pictures on the thighs. Still nothing odd? On one side was a wolf in a suit (like the yellow suit in The Mask) doing that exaggerated cartoon whistle face. On the other side were... 2 prostitutes. You could say that they were just scantily clad women leaning on a lamppost. Only you can't, because the wolf had a handful of cash and one of the women was using said lamp to count a wad of notes. From memory, she'd had a successful night.
My parents bought me the jeans from C&A. They liked C&A because it was good quality. Indeed, that illustration stayed as bright as the day those jeans came home until I outgrew them.
