Did anyone buy the Frida Mom postpartum products?

I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and packing my hospital bag. I’ve got some big maternity pads but struggling to know which of all the wide variety of products are really recommended and which are just marketing/not really used -

  • Instant Ice Maxi Pads
  • Perineal Cooling Pad Liners (24 witch hazel liners)
  • Perineal Foam
  • Upside down peri bottle
  • disposable pants (boy shorts or high wasted)

Anyone used any of these and recommend or say what they took with them which was helpful?

Thank you!

The Frida mom boy shorts were brilliant. I think the high waisted are better for c section if you’re having one. Genuinely worth the money and were comfortable and the pads kept in place.

otherwise I got similar stuff just not from frida. A peri bottle is very useful to keep things clean down there. I got some witch hazel pads to wipe after toilet visits. I got another brand of the ice pads, they were good for the days I felt achey down there.

Most of it can be purchased on Amazon, so next day delivery if you didn’t buy it but felt you needed it after birth. Id personally only pack the disposable pants, peri bottle and thick pads for your bag. Everything else could be left at home or get your partner to bring next day if you need it.

Disposable pants are worth it in my opinion for the first couple of days.

A lot of that stuff will otherwise be wasted if you have a c section. Next day delivery is the way to go.

Thanks that’s really. I guess I have no idea if I’d feel I’d need/want some of the stuff in hospital otherwise it could stay at home. And not planning to have a c section but who knows!

Thanks, I’ll definitely add a few disposable pants then. And some other comfy big ones.

The disposable pants were amazing and were my best friend!

I also had the ice pads & the upside down bottle, I had an episiotomy & a tear so I did use and really loved both of those too.

Thank you, I’ll have the peri bottle and ice pads waiting in my basket!

@Mrsttcno1 Quick one about the cooling pads from Frida, before breaking them, do they sound like they’ve got rice in them, I got some in a bundle on Vinted and trying to figure out if they’re meant to sound like that or whether they’ve been broken in transit?!
